J&K: Department of Tourism gears up for a successful tourist season

Srinagar, Mar 11(ANI): The Department of Tourism in Jammu & Kashmir gears up for a successful tourist season with good activities this year in Kashmir. Ahead of the spring season, they organised different activities that gained the attraction of tourists. During the last two winter seasons, a good number of tourists visited Kashmir and enjoyed the snowfall and overall winter activities. To attract more tourists, the Department of Tourism made good arrangements at all tourist destinations. A group of tour and travel operators headed by department officials visited different states of the country to organise Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) with the aim to attract more and more tourists towards Kashmir. The Department of Tourism also prepared a calendar to organise different events, festivals and new activities to promote tourism.
