Kashmiri actor Tariq Ahmad Mir is known as ‘Tyrion Lannister of India’

Anantnag (J&K), Aug 4 (ANI): Tariq Ahmad Mir is known as a ‘Tyrion Lannister of India’. He hails from Bumthan village in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. He is also known as an actor in Kashmir. The 30-year-old year dwarf artist is a look-alike of Peter Dinklage, who played Tyrion Lannister in the famous ‘Game of Thrones’ series. He has earned a worldwide attention for being a doppelganger of Hollywood star. Besides playing Lannister’s character at several government-organised shows in Kashmir, his appearance also bagged the role in Bharat, a movie starring with India’s megastar Salman Khan. He also acted in many films in ‘Marjaavaan’ and ‘U-Turn’. Tariq Mir came to limelight when Bollywood Film Director Imtiaz Ali met him at Pahalgam in Kashmir during a film festival and shared a photograph for his social media profile.
