This handicraft appeared in the middle of the 19th century in the Moscow region and still exists in the village of Zhostovo. The black trays with colorful bouquets of flowers are known across the world. But the crockery can be made in different colors. Our camera crew went to find out why it’s more difficult to paint on a white background and how many times a tray is sent to the furnace.
