Padma Shri Awardee Haji Ghulam Rasool Khan works for the preservation of rare Jamawar artwork in Kashmir. He is a resident of Amda Kadal in Srinagar city and well-known artisan and experts in Jamawar Artwork. Khan has a specific workshop at his residence where he did his unique patchwork of Pashmina Shawls. He also has a number of rare masterpieces of shawls. Ghulam Rasool Khan produced several other priceless Jamawar designs for which he had received several state and national awards.
