Adriana Glebova, a philologist and native of São Paulo, organised a cultural and gastronomic lecture where she spoke about the main dishes and drinks of her homeland. It was coffee, or café in Portuguese, that she dedicated her lecture to.

Until the beginning of the 19th century, Brazilian coffee was grown only for the domestic market, and became the country's largest export earner only after 1822. How Brazilians prepare and drink coffee and why they call it "black gold" - we tell you in our video.
