J&K Tourism Dept organises Gurez festival to promote valley’s culture

Gurez (J&K), July 17 (ANI): To promote tourism in the Gurez valley of Bandipora district of North Kashmir, Jammu Kashmir Tourism Department organised Gurez Festival. The festival was organised in collaboration with local administration aimed to highlight the heritage and the culture of the beautiful Valley. “Gurez valley has huge potential for adventure sports, fishing and hiking. The festival offered a glimpse into local handicrafts, sheep husbandry and sericulture. Cultural programs also enthralled the visitors in the festival.
