J-K: NGO organises workshop on ‘Child Labour and Role of Placement Agencies’ in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 20 (ANI): An Non-Government Organisation (NGO) in collaboration with the Help Foundation of Jammu and Kashmir and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organised a workshop on ‘Child Labour and Role of Placement Agencies’ at Bait ul Meeras in Srinagar. The aim of the workshop was to aware people of the disadvantages of child labour.  Several people including Members of the Child Line Organisation, Owners of Placement Agencies, Members of Child Welfare Committee and Labour Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the event. During the workshop, various issues related to child labour were highlighted in the event. Various activities like seminars, debates, rallies, and workshops were also held at the event.
