J&K: Paediatric services of GB Pant Hospital shifted to Children Hospital in Bemina

Srinagar, Sept 28 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir administration has shifted the paediatric services of GB Pant Hospital at Sonwar to the newly-constructed 500-bedded Children Hospital in the Bemina locality of Srinagar. The intention of the government was to provide quality treatment with all kinds of facilities including X-Rays, Ultrasounds, Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiography test (ECO testing) and other things. All types of doctors including physicians, ophthalmologists, cardiologists, gastronomists and pathologists are also available for people. The new children's hospital has good infrastructure in the shape of Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), high-tech diagnostic laboratory, Blood Bank, Ventilators, and Immunisation Center. After seventeen years, the paediatric services of GB Pant hospital has been shifted. Due to the limited bed capacity, the administration and people both faced a lot of problems. So that’s why for the benefit of people and to provide quality health care to children, the government spent crores of rupees and completed 500-bedded hospitals at proper time.
